2015 Poetry Contest winners

Congratuations to everyone who submitted poems to the library's Poetry Contest. The humor, beauty, unique insights and thoughtful themes made all of the poems a pleasure to read. Spring Break events for children

Keep the kids busy at the library this week! On April 9, from 4 to 5 PM Create Your Own Rice Krispie Treat (ages 5+), and at 6 PM kids of all ages are invited to Read to Janie, the Therapy Dog. On Friday, April 10 at 4 PM, enjoy Live Music with Lou Gallo: Let the Sun Shine In! (all ages.)

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Judge for yourself -- join NJ photojournalist Jim DelGiudice at an informative, fun and accessible lecture. You'll take a look at some of the accidentally historic photographs that not only changed history, but have become the icons by which we remember great events. (Tuesday, April 7 at 7 PM)
