To Dazzle You: 100 Years of Vintage Costume Jewelry Design

On Wednesday, November 19, at 7 PM, come see a display of vintage jewelry, and learn about the history of costume jewelry making, from 1880 to 1980. This talk is given by Joyce Simmons, an author, lecturer and avid collector of vintage and collectible jewelry for over 35 years. She'll talk about the manufacturing of the jewelry, as well as what to wear, how to care for it, and why to collect it!

Yes, we're open!

Tuesday, November 11 is Veterans Day. The library is open for business during our regular hours -- 9:30 AM to 9 PM. Maya Angelou said “How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!" Especially today, we honor and thank all veterans for their service and valor.

Live Theater at the Library

The Jefferson Township Community Players, under the direction of Jean Simonson, bring two one-act plays to the library on Saturday, November 1 at 7 PM. (Library doors open at 6:30 PM) You'll be entertained by "The Keeping Place" a New England ghost story, and "Dinner Plans," where five women make a startling discovery! Stay for refreshments following the show.
