We’re open, even though the stairs will be closed off and there will be equipment in the front of the building. The replacement of the stairs and the construction of the portico will begin on June 12th.
During the replacement of the stairs you can enter the library by using the ramp on the south east side of the library and entering through the main entrance. Or you can park in the small parking lot at the side of the library and enter through the side or main entrance.
We expect the stairs to be replaced and the portico to be completed within 6-8 weeks.

Upcycled CD Craft
It's fun to make something, especially when you find a new use for materials already on hand. The JTPL is offering an Upcycled CD craft, for adults and older teens, on Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 PM. Paint, stencils and/or freehand drawing, followed by light etching, creates a pretty piece of art. Take a few "altered" CDs and group them together with a pretty ribbon, and you've got a one-of-a-kind work of art for display. Please register, and bring a small screwdriver or other easy to handle sharp object for etching. All other supplies will be provided by the library.
