Fun with Simple Machines - ages 5-8

A 45 minute class for 5- to 8-year-olds focusing on 
the six basic machines (inclined plane, screw, wedge, wheel and axel, pulley, 
lever) and why they are important in everyday life to make work easier. We will 
conduct a few simple experiments to demonstrate mechanical advantage to 
move heavy objects, and every child will have a chance to participate.
