Celebrate National Women's History Month at the library!
We're celebrating and acknowledging the history and contributions of women with the following events at the library during the month of March!
On Wednesday, March 12 at 1 PM, we'll read poetry written by American women of the 20th century at the monthly A Taste of Poetry meeting. Featured poets will include Dorothy Parker, Maya Angelou, Sylvia Plath, Rita Dove and others. Just drop in!
Service: When Women Come Marching Home is a film highlighting the resourcefulness and courage of seven amazing woman veterans as they transition from active duty to their civilian lives. It will be shown on Wednesday, March 19 at 7 PM.
Enjoy Women Make Music, a live performance by NJ-based acoustic songstress Heather Mulvey on Sunday, March 30 at 2 PM. She'll highlight the music of women composers such as Carol King, Judy Collins, Dolly Parton and others.

Moonlight Serenade: A Classical Music Concert
Enjoy beautiful chamber music pieces, and learn about the composers, history and culture surrounding the music on Sunday, March 2 at 3 PM. The Moonlight Duo, featuring Claudia Baumgaertner Lemmertz on piano, and Karen Pinoci on cello, brings classical music to the masses! Reservations are recommended.

Do you love cookbooks, and trying new recipes? Would you enjoy meeting new friends, and sharing treats and culinary ideas? Bring a (small) favorite dish and recipe to share on Tuesday, February 19 at 6 PM, and enjoy a display of library cookbooks for browsing and inspiration!
